Heart to Heart featured on PRI’s The World

Sixty-five years ago, a lab technician and two surgeons in the United States pioneered ways to repair the hearts of children born with congenital heart defects. The surgery is now common here in the U.S., but it’s rare in many other countries. On The World, reporter Cy Musiker of KQED Radio News in San Francisco reports on Heart to Heart’s work.
