We have returned to INCOR (National Cardiovascular Institute) in Lima, Peru with a full pediatric cardiac team for our third congenital heart disease training mission since we began our collaboration in early 2016.

Heart to Heart Founder & Medical Director Dr. Nilas Young is a 2016 recipient of the ACS/Pfizer International Surgical Volunteerism Award conferred annually by the American College of Surgeons.

Janet is the medical director of the cardiothoracic intensive care unit at Nationwide Children’s Hospital in Columbus, Ohio.

On this trip, the Heart to Heart team is focused on education and training associated with the diagnosis, treatment, and post-operative care of newborns and infants with critical forms of congenital heart disease (CHD).

Nathan is a pediatric cardiologist at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota.
