Sherene is passionate about ensuring children have access to the life-saving healthcare they need and is very excited to join Heart to Heart’s board of directors. 

She is a marketing executive with nearly 20 years of experience in nonprofit fundraising. Sherene comes from a diverse professional background and has worked with clients in a variety of fields including animal welfare, children’s causes, environmental advocacy, international aid, healthcare, and veterans support. Having worked with many hospitals and cancer nonprofits, domestically and internationally, Sherene has a wealth of knowledge to help make an impact for the children we serve. Sherene is a member of the Direct Marketing Association of Washington (DMAW) and has previously served on their board of directors.

Sherene currently serves on Heart to Heart’s communications working group and is eager to offer her expertise as a member of the governing board and fundraising committee. In particular, Sherene looks forward to expanding fundraising efforts with the ultimate goal of increasing and ensuring Heart to Heart’s ability to reach children in need of life-saving cardiac care.
